The first one shows big: choose your star.
Your page isn’t your catalog: it’s the door. What you put first decides whether someone keeps looking.
The mistake
Everything weighs the same.
Twenty identical products, in no order, and your best seller lost in the middle. Whoever arrives doesn’t know where to start, and whoever doesn’t know where to start doesn’t start.
Why it happens
When everything stands out, nothing does.
People have a few seconds to decide if your page is for them. They need one clear thing to look at first. That’s why the first item on your page shows big: it’s your shop window.
What to do
One star, with a photo and a price.
Put first the one you sell most or the one that earns you most. With its best photo: daylight, the product on its own, a clean background. And with its price written: whoever writes knowing how much it is, writes to buy. The rest go below. Change it every week and announce it in your status.
