Get on the map: your Google Business Profile.

When someone nearby searches for what you sell, Google shows a map. That map comes from business profiles, and a profile is free.

The mistake

People search and you don’t show up.

Someone types “cakes in Santiago” or “nails near me” into Google. At the top there’s a map with a few businesses. Without a profile you’re not on that map, even if you sell the same thing, and better.

Why it happens

The map comes from profiles, not pages.

Google builds the map from Business Profiles: name, area, hours, photos and reviews. Your page tells people what you sell and how to order; the profile tells Google where you are. You need both, and they have to say the same thing.

What to do

Create your free profile and add your page as the website.

Go to business.google.com with your Google account. Use your business’s real name, without “the best” or filler words: that can get your profile suspended. Pick the most precise category. If you sell from home or deliver, choose service area and keep your address hidden. In “Website”, paste the link to your IN-Posible page, and use the same WhatsApp number it shows. Upload real photos of what you sell. Google will ask you to verify the business is yours: without that step, the profile doesn’t show.

After

Ask for the review right then.

When customers tell you they loved it, send them the review link Google gives you, on WhatsApp. Never buy reviews or make them up, and reply to all of them, the bad ones too: readers look at how you answer.

«Your page says what you sell; your Google profile says where to find you.»

Did you apply it? Come back and tell me how it went: I’ll give you another resource for your next step.
